Arapahoe Basin is the highest ski area in
the U.S., Arapahoe Basin Ski Area offers
breathtaking scenery at a literally breathtaking altitude.
Intermediate and advanced skiers will find outstanding terrain
trail census doesn't do justice to the virtually limitless skiing in
A-Basin's vast above-the-treeline bowls. Known for great snow, a ski
season that regularly extends to June or later, and "The Beach"
the parking-lot faux beach party that cooks along all through the
late spring and early summer.
Where: On U.S. 6, 75 miles west of Denver.
What's There: 2,250-foot vertical drop (1,670 feet
lift-served), 490 skiable acres, 61 trails, one triple and four
double chairs.
What's New: High Adventure Series, workshops in adventure
skiing, telemarking, free riding, and more.
Season: November to Mid-June.
Snowboarding: Yes. There are 61 trails total. Clinics are
available and offered 7 days a week, twice a day.

Average Annual Snowfall:
Arapahoe Basin receives approximately 367 inches of snow per
season.
Ski School:
The beginner package includes a two-hour ski lesson, ski or
snowboard equipment rentals, as well as a lift ticket. There are 30
ski school staff members offering instruction at all levels for
adults and children. This resort doesn't offer handicap ski school
lessons.
